Nice #'s!!! Hopefully you have some drag radials on it :-) I'm guessing your car might also have a smaller than stock paxton pulley on it as well? Maybe a 3.5" or even a 3.25" one? I think the stock pulley is 3.75".
I think a stock cam and stock exhaust (no cats though) Gen3, would...
Had my car finished up at Macedo Motorsports (Powerhouse Performance) today. Stock motor car. Did a few small upgrades
3 1/2 pulley (saw right at 10lbs of boost)
RSI Billet fuel rails
2nd in tank Walboro pump that is boost activated (saw 70psi under full boost)
It has really come a long...
Wow this is almost like the dual mode exhaust on Vette's in a way.
Roy, so the "muffler" is all the way in the back near the diffuser?
From the pictures I cannot tell, but when the flaps open, I guess the exhaust dumps out the sides un-muffled? Or does it dump out those back two pipes...
Anyone with an SCT tuned Paxton car (and otherwise pretty much stock or few mods) running the paxton 3.5" blower pulley? I am guessing it makes 9-10lbs of boost instead of 7-8lbs on an otherwise stock car. Just trying to gauge people's experience with it.
Paxton says they have shipped a...
This system when Dan has it ready will be the way to go hands downon our Vipers. I have the system in the new Jeep and it is AWESOME!!! Way beyond the RB1 nav system I have in the Viper now.
Other than the RB1, which I do have already, what is the best fitting Nav radio that has the "most" features?
I would like to avoid modifying the dash if at all possible. That is why I went with the RB1 a few years ago.
I just picked up a 2014 Wrangler though with the upgraded MyGig radio...
Thanks 345s! St.Char, no I actually added a wideband gauge into one of the bungs and just blocked off the other. I left the pair of O2 sensors that were in near the front cats hanging (wiretied) up underneath the car with the tip of the sensor taped off with reflective heat tape. Never has...
Are there any headers that will bolt up to the stock exhaust system? I have already removed both cats on each side with a custom downpipe for that cat section. Car sounds real good with the stock mufflers and no cats at all and the heat totally went away. So I want to leave that entire...
Re: Any possible way to make the trunk on a convertible power (lift) up and power dow
I would have to say that I would think that a lot of people that own a Gen 3 or Gen 4 convertible would have opted (if it was offered as an option) for a power top and/or even just a powered trunk decklid that...
Re: Any possible way to make the trunk on a convertible power (lift) up and power dow
I would like to open the trunk from inside the car so I can put the top up or down without getting out. It would make it much easier if you wanted to drop the top to be able to open the trunk, release the top...
Re: Any possible way to make the trunk on a convertible power (lift) up and power dow
True. I wonder If you could just mount the actuators in the floor of the trunk and lift it that way?
Re: Any possible way to make the trunk on a convertible power (lift) up and power dow
I am not sure the actuators would work by themselves because of how the trunk is when closed. They would be laying flat (if you mounted them where the current struts are located) when closed so how would they...
Not sure if anyone else with a 03' and newer vert has thought about this, or even if it can be done, but since the lock is electrically released, would there be a way to add some type of electrically powered actuators to the trunk area/decklid to be able to remotely lift and close the trunk, say...
Re: Paxton owners - GET RID OF YOUR FMU & SPLIT SECOND SETUP AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSI
I believe it is a Walboro 400 lph. 69lb dodge injectors. Injectors were at 85-87%.
Tony, what RPM are you crossing in 4th? How much more trap speed mph could you push it in 4th, or is it almost tapped out? Can you trap 160 without having to shift into 5th?
