    Everything I've read and heard states that the car will not pass OBD2 plug inspection. I'm about to have the PCM and full Belanger w/o cats installed and will deal with it when the time comes...no solid plan right now....

    Don't think it is a recall but the hood vents were redesigned and have new part numbers assigned to each of the six hood vents for 2013 SRT Viper...don't know about GTS? I actually provided all the new part numbers to my dealer and they ordered them and only 1 out of 6 that came is the new...

    Well, based on this post I changed my mind at the last minute and am going with Belanger complete system without cats, (2) 3inch exhaust and the Arrow PCM. I can't wait to hear it and shoot flames again like my Gen III did!!! :headbang:

    Yeah, if these were cut to offer relief, there were definitely overdone. I can literally push on the underside of the front 2 vents and they will easily lift because not all the clips catch the hood now. Sucks...not sure how this will be managed?

    If you own a Gen V, specifically a 2013, please look under you hood at the hood vent cutouts closest to the headlights and tell me if yours look like these pics. As you can see, around the cutout are notches for some reason which allow for less surface area for the hood vent clips to attach...

    So my hood vent covers came in today and only 1 of 6 were the new design with one of the new part numbers above. The original part numbers end in the letter "c" and the other 5 were identical to the original ones (part ending in letter "c")...what a bummer! I am going to start another Thread...

    New hood vent part numbers are as follows: 68141088AE 68141089AE 68141090AD 68141091AD 68183762AD 68183763AE Each vent has it's own number...sorry to state the obvious, but thought I would clarify.

    I wonder what the life expectancy is, for lack of better terms for the product to remain in good shape and what happens when it (if) it breaks down? How much do you have invested ($$$) at this point, if you don't mind me asking, for the amount of work you have had done?
