    I've seen gen 3 v10s put in a lot crazier stuff than another viper, so it can't be that hard. I've seen em in Nomads, New Yorkers, Volvos, you name it.

    Nerd alert- 2013 Maisto Vipers

    I found a red one at Walmart about a month ago for $10...it was the only one there, and they haven't gotten any in since. I was at a carshow just this weekend, and they were selling them loose (no box) in all 3 colors, but wanted like $20 a pop for 1/24.

    Does anyone have a recomendation for a mini polisher/buffer?

    If it's just for tiny touch ups, it really doesn't matter about battery life etc....just get a cheapo one, like a Meguiars etc. I bought a Mothers Powerball (for paint), for quick touch ups, and use it on low speed setting. It does the job. Not meant for heavy compounds though

    Gen 1 vs Gen 2 soft top

    I don't believe there is a difference in fitment, but I know the top that came with my early gen 1 was a bit of a joke. It really wasn't meant for driving by any means, more for if your car is sitting in the parking lot, and it starts to rain, you have something to put over it.

    ahh, I see. I have 1/24 plastic promos in all other colors, but don't have 96 like this in plastic. I think I remember the 3 car set you speak of (the other 2 had stripes as well). So it's worth about $1.50 lol

Sure, they are gorgeous, but if you're spending over $2k for a watch, it's because you want it to get noticed.     I would like to disassemble a 1/18 Burago Dodge Viper RT/10, but have no clue how to. I've tried, but it doesn't seem easy. Has anyone taken done this before?? Would love some tips if it were a 1/24 Burago Viper, it would be a piece of cake. I used to put together those 1/24 metal kits years ago

    Welcome! looks really mean...I love it. I too have a Satin finished RT/10 (snake skin green). The look is unique, but it's proving a tough sell now that we want to sell it. My advice: if you ever want to sell, repaint to stock :p

    they have Satin Wraps??? Seriously??...wow! I've had car wraps done, but that was just conventional non-transparent vinyl. I had no clue they had transparent wraps on the market. That will be the way to go for the future.

    welcome! Sounds like you'll have quite a gem. White 96s were always among my favorite Vipers. I can't remember the numbers off hands, but 96 was a low production year for R/T-10s (up until then, it was 2nd only to 1992). 415 hp, 488 lb torque for 96. I believe only 320-something came in...

    I'll dig through, see if I have any better (higher)shots. There's 5ft of snow outside, so if I don't, taking new ones might be hard. I agree, new wheels would really set it off.

    here is the stripe.... Some say it needs dual striped. I suppose it's not too late to go with dual stripes (just add another). I agree about the wheels, but they worked with what they had. The fit and finish/body gaps are impeccable now. This guy put it back together to better than original.

    that GTS with those wheels is flat-out yummy :cool: I vote no for stripes....not because I don't like stripes (I love stripes), but because that's the way it came originally. I like to honor the factory's wishes :p
