02 GTS Lower Ball joint Tool

Hello all,
Need to replace ball joint seal boot, lower control arm, and it looks C-4150A tool along with 6983 is required. local Autozone did not have this.
Anyone know of a direct replacement or where to go for these?

I just ordered one from my local Dodge dealer last week - it was about $75. Expensive, but will not ruin the grease boot, or damage the aluminum suspension forgings like a splitter fork will.

Ny service manager let me borrow the delaerships. It didn't take long to pop them out with that tool. I can tell you it's pretty much impossible without it. I tried a bunch of different things that I thought would work.

Thanks for the responses. Yes I tried all kinds of borrowed and or rented clamps also and none would fit without damage. Will try and order one from local dealer. Thanks again, 80 views and no answers, I was beginning to worry.

$92.00 for the clamp and $29.00 for the bushing in Reno.
Should have said Pinto A arm. Think I will pump more grease until winter.

You may want to consider upgraded ball joints and boot heat covers like the competition cars we prepare. It saves repairs in the future and makes the car handle better.

Have not heard of this upgrade. Will you be at VOI?
Sounds like I good idea, gotta remove ball joint anyway.
