Does anyone know what changes are needed to put a set of 08 heads on a Gen III 03-06. I believe the headers will match up fine but I was curious if the current 03-06 Air Intake ports would line up? I would assume they don't since the 08 has a new intake but wanted to know if anything esle is problematic with using the 08 heads? Mopar was supposed to come out with a package but I suspect thats been scrapped.

Arrow racing showed us the package while at VOI and it will still be coming out. There are many parts that make up the swap and they would be better off explaining it than I could. They are also looking into offering some really cool black chrome parts for the intake and valve covers along with carbon fiber coil covers to top it off.

The SRT engineers at Voi said that Mopar will be coming out with the upgrade "kit" to do just that. It is a fabricated cross between a gen 3 and gen 4 intake, among other things included. They mentioned around 600-625 h.p. and a cost of $12-13K. This will be an "over the counter" part with a part number.

I think Woodhouse had some brochures regarding this same upgrade at VOI.

Is that installed or just parts alone?
WOWSERS you can get a set of Striker heads and install them for less than that. They may not flow as well but his are darn close to the 08 numbers but.... I shouldn't be knocking it until I see it. Ok so 600-625 did they mention at the crank or rwhp on that? Now I know Im asking to many questions Sorry?

No apology needed, those are good questions. Unfortunately, the details were left a little vague at this time.

I agree, there are a lot of less expensive ways to get 600+ h.p.

I think if you would want to swap the heads from a Gen four to Gen three you would want to bring the gen four intake over, If the block deck height is the same then it sould line up with the heads? Having done no research on the subject, better flowing heads require better flowing intake and the Gen four must have better flow then the Gen three.

You have to change over to the Gen 4 intake. Gen 3's and Gen 4's have totally different ports and bolt pattern's. You will need the Gen 4 Fuel Rail seeing how the injectors are in the head and not the intake. Rocker arms are also different from the generations. The kit will have to be shipped in a large box!

Yep just like that but even the valve covers are black chrome instead of a crinkle finish! Would be VERY cool looking obviously. Might not end up being too expensive of a swap for you gen4 guys but you are also right that the cost of the 4-3 swap will be a chunk.
