Iam telling you (and if you check the archives or ASK ANY old timers the car won 4 straight Mopar Atlantic National titles-modded all motor division )the car ran AT LEAST 130 mph in the worst weather possible all day long .Remember this was done in the time before DFI (stock computers )with STOCK Ported heads, Edelbrock headers .If you read Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford its on the cover (Jan 2001 ).Nace ran the same set up as myself with slicks (car was hundreds of lbs heavier WITH FULL 10 SECOND CAGE)and ran 10.5 on YOUR same tires .If i had the tuning advantages available today with the newer head ect i think i coild have trapped in the 134 range no problem. You act like I am new to the game, I've already been through all of the drivetrain parts in one way or another. A look back to some of my old threads would show that.
You guys must have some super special cold air intakes...my car has ALWAYS lost mph in the heat and humidity of the SC summer compared to the cooler months.
You're telling me the mph should be the same at a DA of 4000ft as 0ft...
I brought you in this thread because you make yourself out to be the resident NA expert.
