18\" Kumho vs. 18\" Pilot Cups?

I've read a lot of archives here re: the Kumho V700's.
But I haven't see a direct comparison of Pilot Cups to Kumho 18" V700's.

Does anyone have experience or a comparison of the two for street driving and/or occasional rain?

Anyone want to comment on people saying the Kumho's tend to get greasy on occason? Is either tire significantly louder on the street?

Thx!

Re: 18

I, too, would like some information on the Pilot Sport Cups. I need to get a new set of tires for the Silver State Classic and One Mile Shootout. Jon B suggested them to me in an email but didn't give me much info on them. How are they different from the regular Pilot Sports and how are they for regular street driving?

Re: 18

Go to their websites. Different diameters and widths. Sport Cups come in 345 which is great. Almost half the tread depth as Pilots to start with and much stickier compound. Great for any driving, will pick up more stones like Kumos, will last less than 5K miles. Awesome though.

Anyone have direct experience with both the Kumho V700's and the Pilot Cups?

Which is a better tire and why?

Thx.

Thx. Having trouble finding the Toyo RA-1's Online (think those are the DOT's).

Anyone have experience comparing Pilot Cups vs. Kumho V700's vs. Toyo RA-1's?
