I came across this post:
which describes using a timed relay to work around slow-start problem. Though I have not done this modification yet myself, I bought the timed relay and designed a case.

This YouTube video also describes the problem and how to setup the relay:

Now I just need a photo of what wires to splice into within the trunk of my 93....

#1 Positive --> ?
#2 Negative --> ?
#3 TGR --> not used
#4 N/O --> ?
#5 COM --> Using a small jumper cable, connect it to Negative (#2)
#6 N/C -- not used

Or just fix the actual problem correctly.

If you don't want to do it correctly, then:
cycle the key to build pressure (free).
Or for <$4 you can rig a switch and wire to do the same thing.
Or add a check valve around the fuel filter.
or sell it a buy something you can afford to fix.
