Hello,

Yesterday I dynoed my viper to see how is my engine doing in terms of HP and torq.
1st pull was near what i expected , the numbers are 532 HP 510 trq.
2nd pull which impressed me is 535 HP
598 TRQ.

other than being RED, my viper is completely STOCK.

Yes it is RED

No one that day got any wrong number for the HP n Trq
I was the 4th to pull

If any of u can explain what happened please do

this is the dyno sheet, 1st pull vid ,and 2nd pull vid

The grey ACR that was there put down 591whp and I don't recall the torque. He has the pcm plus other supporting mods.

His question is based on the torque. Why did he put down 510 then jump to 590+. Nothing changed on the car, no temp change. They were back to back runs.

I've seen this before, and for some reason it's not too uncommon to see a torque (and resulting HP) spike on a Dynojet trace. As mentioned, that's the cause of your aberrent peak number. Nice to see that your operator applied SAE correction to his results.

Dyno error you can tell by the spike, nothing has a curve that does that it was just a glitch.

Also, at 5000 rpm, 598 lb/ft of torque would be about 570 hp, well above the under 500 the car was making at 5000 rpm and still under the power peak.
