A Header Question For JON B

I saw your post yesterday for a set of used Belanger Headers.
You made specific comment that the headers were recoated inside
and out. I assume the recoating was necessary because of
deterioration of the mild steel material. How much additional
cost would a set of Belanger Headers be made from stainless steel. I would feel better with a lifetime guarantee such as
SVSi or Borla offers.

I don't think you can get a Viper Tri-Y header from Belangers in Stainless Steel at any price. It's just not what they do.

If that is the style you want, you CAN get the Belanger style Tri-Y header in Stainless Steel. It's called the SVP or B&B Tri-Y header and the prices are comparable to the Belanger Aluminized unit.

The SVP Stainless tri-y header (Belanger Style) is made in Phoenix by Billy Boat, B&B TriFlow. B&B also makes a 5-into-1 Viper header.

Last I knew, The Belanger header had the Jet-Hot 1300 degree coating and the SVP (B&B Tri-Flow) had the Jet Hot 2000 degree coating. You can also purchase them without any coatings.

Jon B you didn't answer either of my questions.First why was it
necessary to recoat the used Belanger headers? I asked the
question because I was interested in purchasing a new pair
of Belanger headers. However if they do deteriorate and require
recoating then it makes more sense to me to buy a set of stainless ones. Hence my second question. How much is a set of
stainless Belanger headers. I would certainly appreciate your
help.
