Mark I thought the hold up on producing the ACR was getting the Aero parts for them??? Now maybe this is true because they were making parts to sell seperatly. Whatever the case, you have parts numbers and prices, can you get the parts??? or are they starting out as a back-order item??

Is this price for the ACR aero package as well as the vert package? The vert aero package has a smaller front splitter and a small deck spoiler. That is crazy money if that is the price for vert package too.

There is no real reason why. This will make it hard for people to replicate this series of Viper for sure, but I really feel for the guys that crack up the ACR's on the track.

Maybe when they see this thread the greed will subside and reality will prevail?

The Aero package is different then the ACR, the wing on the aero coupe package is smaller than the ACR, the wing on the vert is also different.
The splitter is the same on the vert and coupe with the Aero package, it is not the same as the ACR splitter.

That price is insane! I was quoted a price of $14,000 awhile back for the Aero package and I thought that was high.......

The splitter on the ACR looks the same as the one on my Vert, except for the two pieces higher up. That said, I believe I will park my VVV for awhile. If I were to damage it, they would total my car out.

What's the price of the splitter without the wear strips? I'm curious as to what a 'parking error' will cost me.

This prcing is simply ridiculous and not even close to appropriate. If you do anything that would damage the rear wing the car will be a write off.

I can only imagine the kind of stories we'll hear. I also wouldn't leave my Aero Pkg/ACR car out of view, even for a second. I can see someone stealing parts off of cars, and that would be a nightmare.

So anyone wanna trade their Gen 3 in for a rear wing and splitter?

Are you %*&?#$+% kidding me... That is absolutely crazy. I remember 2 years ago I was going to buy a painted wing and front splitter from Prefix for around 8k. I had a VOI9 car and some of them came through the factory like this, very few though. I know they might be different in substance but 34k worth I think not.

I was quoted $7-8K for the Aero kit painted, and $12-14K for the complete ACR kit. And I thought that was high. $42,500 must be a misprint!!!

Yeah, wait until the first ACR gets into a minor front accident and cracks the splitter. Insurance company is going to have heart attack.
Then, since the parts are sooo back ordered, the car will sit for a while because you can't get parts.

Actually the splitters are all the same with the exception of the "front tooth" which is included with the ACR and is not a part of the aero package for the coupe and convert.

The ACR aero kit comes with a Popeil pocket mechanic who you can use for track adjustments. 12 months food supply is included.
