Wallbanger Your car is so beautiful. I wish I knew about the aero package before I got my 08. I have a wing but I would love to get the rest of the package.
My 8 year old took this picture, it was his favorite one at the MD Va crab feast

I would like my black/silver viper to look like this. Where can I get the spoiler and splitter? I see Snake Oyl has a similar package, anyone else?

Autoform will have our New SRT Coupe Adjustable Wing available for shipment in three weeks.
Our new wing section is similar in style to the Aero wing.
Our new riser brackets are made from 1/4" stainless steel with a thin layer of carbon fiber
bonded to each side.
As with all Autoform products these wings are available in primer or we will paint to match your Viper.

Any pics or prices yet? Will you also have front splitter?

We are working on the splitter and canards and will be available soon.
The wing in primer will be $1600.00.
This includes all mounting brackets and hardware as well as ACR styled aluminum spill plates.

You say for the coupe, but nothing for the Vert yet? Are they in the works? So its smaller than the actual ACR wing? Is it one piece?

I called xvipers and he said pics would be on web site in about a week. I like the spoiler that snake oyl has just not sure on the front splitter. I'm ready to buy today but some of the venders won't have product ready to ship for 30-90 days.

Interesting article here on how much the ACR aero reduces it's top speed. Seems less than a Gen II GTS:
2008 Dodge Viper ACR: Flat Out at Bonneville

If you track the car, you gotta have it. If you dont, and are just a roll on warrier, the wing will slow you down....ALOT. It is basically an airbrake. The first C6 Z06 I raced I had my wife in the car (and an extra...ahem...130 lbs or so) he was a car ahead of me and I let him hit first. I didnt pass him until I hit like 120 mph and walked him all the way to 165 mph (had him by almost 8 cars) when I got out of it. Now, the 08 ACR tops out at 177 mph due to that wing primarily. That is a 22 mph penalty. That wing will even hurt you on fast tracks like the Poconos and Gingerman. The Viper is menacing enough in looks from the factory. Why put on a device (rear wing) that takes some of the bite out of the bark?

With the stock wing and splitter positions, my ACR went 180 mph (179.7 actually, on GPS) and was still pulling. I'd say it would do at least 185 or so. No way does the car top out at 177. It does take a LONG time to pull due to the aero and gearing in 5th, so maybe the people testing its top speed ran out of room.

Archer Racing has the splitter and canards done, and I believe will have the wing done in a month or so. I think the price they are asking for their kit is $8,000.

I keep hearing how strong the ACR wing and splitter are and that at VOI 10 there were 4 'big guys' sitting on the wing and then standing on the splitter.

Does anyone have pictures of this? I'd love to see it!

BTW, On Saturday my splitter was plowing snow to get off my street to the 'dry and clear' main road for a long overdue drive. Nice!

Now that a little time has passed, who is making a (reasonably priced) copy of the ACR wing???

I went with the factory Aero pkg from JonB. All original Aero parts at a great price. You should call him first before putting after market junk on.

I'm interested in "after market junk" because the factory Aero wing is MUCH smaller and does not generate nearly as much down force. I am interested in this for a race car application, not just for the 'look'. Since factory ACR wing is tough to find and VERY pricey at that, I'm interested in the "junk".

I don't think anyone has exactly duplicated the ACR parts, if someone had we'd all know about it

As easy as it to make a mold of an original and then make copies, I'm amazed nobody has. Sure the copy might not have the same properties (rigidity and weight), but it will be a very close copy of the original.

For the highly over-priced amounts folks charge for aftermarket aero on these cars, I can't believe someone hasn't taken advantage of this market!!!
