What Ulysses said - except you need to completely loosen the two forward knobs only, I don't think they will just pull out like the single knob at the back of the housing. Remove the single knob (at the back of the housing) only - look at "Remove the Existing Hoses" in the "Air Intake Hose Replacement" section of the upgrades cookbook for an illustrated example.
