Great car, but without all the extra documents it could be hard to get top dollar.

I would think that there are more perfectly clean near brand new museum piece quality 1998 GT2 vipers than any other year viper. Not many made, but most saw that they would be collectible and saved them right from the start.

I am always amazed that owners of cars like this loose all that documentation. Those are the things that keep a car like this special, and it is always reflected in price...

additional info from an old email from the person i bought from in 2003:

"A person ordered it new.
He did something bad, and was in jail.
The car came in, he called his buddy to pick it up and drive it to his
house, park it in the garage, and cover it. It was to be a collector
with no miles.

His buddy picked it up.

And then drove to Denver from the Bay Area!

Smoked in the car. Ate sunflower seeds in the car. And put 2500 miles
on the clock.

Guy gets out of jail. Goes to see his new car. And messes his pants
when he looks at it.

So, he put it up for sale at Kassabian Motors.

The cars were delivered in September of '98 I bought it in the Spring
of '99"
