The original ( 35 min ) Operating Tips video? I cant find the case but remember it was in kinda bad shape in the trunk when I bought the car. If you are looking for one and own a 1998 Viper let me know.

I've got a 98 GTS I got just before Christmas. It would be interesting to see what's on it.

It came with GenII cars and explained some basics for those cars (soft top use, opening hood, etc.) and was around 30 minutes in length.

I just found mine still shrink-wrapped behind the driver seat pouch on my 'new' GTS. Most of you have it and don't even know it. I don't want to open mine because it's mint, but I'd be interested in converting this to YouTube. I'm surprised how many Viper owners don't know how to properly close their hoods and this video shows it.

Call me pessimistic, but a VHS tape stored in a car for 15 years is probably not "mint." :) Maybe for collectors' purposes.

Surrounded by 4" of cushion on one side, and a giant tank of fuel on the other, I'm confident that it has been protected from degaussing.

Found this on Youtube. Guess this is what's on the VHS video, separated into 3 pieces. Happy to have found this :)

Very interesting is that you see a '98 silver RT/10 with the '97 hood (which you also find in the '98 sales brochure, BTW). Probably the only one made as '98 MY of the roadster came with the GTS hood. Plus, a silver GTS w/ blue stripes with the engine painted in that scheme. Never saw this one before.

Own a '98 Viper RT/10, BTW.

I saw those videos some time ago and had to laugh so hard....they should have hired some actors for this to make it a little more watchable. I have the tape in my garage as well, but who nowadays has a VHS player to actually watch it.

Someone should rerelease those videos on DVD/Blu Ray as a director's cut collector's edition :headbang: I'd buy a copy right away!
