Just curious if that is a realistic figure with the Pilots...I dont have a dragstrip nearby, but would like to know if my car could get in the high tens the way it is with a good driver. BTW I have 620 RWHP...Thanks...AL...
i would say it is possible, but driver has to be top notch. a 1.7 60ft on the pilots is very possible and with that type of power your car should trap 128-130mph i would think this should be a high 10 sec pass based on many other 10 sec passes i witnessed at the strip.
I don't have a blower, I have Nitrous and am running Pilots. Have YET to break the rear end loose. My tires stick pretty well for some reason. I do run the tire pressure a bit lower than what is recommeded though.
so what are you saying. have you got in the tens yet on your power. and no way you are nailing the juice off the line because my car lost severe tracion with kuhmos off the line giving me a 2.2 '60 running an 11.8 et. at 128 mph. i totally lifted off 1st granny into 2nd, then punched on the gass for the rest of the run. i could have easily ran the 10 if i didnt deal with the loss off traction off the line and shifting recovery. cars trapping 128 or more are 10 sec. cars easy with the right shoes on. period.
Sorry, let me be more specific. I have not tracked my car but I never engage my nitrous until the rpm's are at or above 2700. After that, I have never spun.
