The dealership told me that a guy from CA put a deposit down on it 2 days ago and is flying in this w/e to take a look at the car.
If he says "no thanks", then I'm next.

I could hear the salesman sweat through the phone when I told him I had CASH.

I'd really love to score this one, but if it falls through...then I'm back in the hunt!

This one in WI is a Gen.IV, but I have a Gen.III and Gen.II as my back-up plans.

There is a 2008 SSG vert in the classifieds....at a great price too.

As awesome as the SSG is, it's not really on my palate for this ride.
And I'd really prefer a coupe over a vert.

Just got off the phone with the 2 WI-VCA members who checked out the car for me.
They're giving it an A- or B+. With some time and elbow grease, it could be a hard A.
We'll see what happens with the guy from CA......
