Anyone \"fix\" a Power Steering Reservoir?

I notice I *may* have a leak coming from the reservoir. The top of the reservoir has a seam that runs along the edge a bit, and to me it looks like it might be leaking.

If it is, has anyone tried to fix this, and what type of epoxy or ??? should be used in attempting this?

Any ideas would be helpful.

Re: Anyone

I can't help you with fixing it but wouldn't that be a cool thing for MGW to make a billet replacement.

Re: Anyone

I tried to fix mine with epoxy w/o much luck.

You can purchase the reservoir separately from the pump. Got mine from Chuck Tator.

Re: Anyone

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the cap.
I think the reservoir itself is made of polypropylene and that doesn't glue very well.

Re: Anyone

Just be careful...I have read here about the fluid going on the exhaust when the cap comes loose and the car catching fire. So if you have a leak...it could cause the same effect if enough fluid comes out.
