It is for my 96 that currently has the factory setup. I really like my music but the car is a driver and I would rather not
pay premium for a brand new high end system if someone has one collecting dust. Thanks.

I think MTSGTS has something left over from his and hes semi-local to you... I just started researching for my car in the future. Lots of good ideas on the forums!

I have a custom sub box for a 10" sub. I have the sub for it as well. PM me if you're interested and we'll meet up so you can check it out.

the viper has terrible acoustics, a mid level speaker set and a mid level head unit would be more then enough. Make sure that you add acoustic foam baffles for each speaker. http://www.autotoys.com/x/home.php?cat=562

also Hertz http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/default_en.htm makes great middle of the road speakers that sound great... i did my wrangler (worst car for sound in the world) and it sounds great with the top down. if you ever need any help with sound i have gotten pretty good over the years weeding through all the BS and figuring out what is really needed..

we dynamtted the floor and doors of the GTS and added the Hertz with one punch 12 and that was more then enough.

Interesting first post. I am curious as to how much improvement the foam baffles will add to my Focal's. They sound great now but I'm always up for better sound. Part of my issue is my exhaust but the engine makes good music as well. For 20 bucks I may just give it a shot. Know if its small or large frame for the Viper?

I have an alpine Iva-d106 7" flip out. You can no longer get an alpine in a flip out new. Paid 800.00. Will take less
Used about 6 months. PM me if interested.

it will make a difference, instead of losing alot of sound in the door (as well as distortion) it will push the sound into the cabin. As for sizing i would pull the door panel and do some measurements, its not all that hard or time consuming.
