anyone have an old busted VEC2 ? ? ?

i need to look into it so i can make mine remote in the cockpit with a card reader. i hate that i need to shut the car down,pop the hood and swipe the card to change programs.

I got a buddy who might be able to wire it up the way i want but he needs to see whats inside or get a wiring diagram.

You don't need to shut the car down to swap programs. The car can remain running.

Can't you just run longer wires to the box, and put it inside the car?

I dont want the actual unit in my car. just a small reader.
