anyone here ever replace a heater core?

just had my gen 1 to the shop for burning a little antifreeze...the heater core is bad...i just had the head gaskets fixed in august. i have only put 300 miles on the car since they were replaced, my guess is this (the heater core) was bad before, along with the head gaskets.

is this somthing i can do (the heater core) myself...or should i leave this up to the vipertech?

I have never done one on a Viper, but from my experience it is do-able. It will probably involve some disassembling inside the car on the lower dash. Not sure how difficult access will be. That is the only thing that could be a real problem.

The heatercore is easy to replace. It is something you can do. PM me if you need any help.
