Anyone know viper wiring?

Does anyone know of a (headlight switched) wire in the cabin that I could tap into to power another light to so it would come on with the headlights? Say, for the light on an external gauge?

On your dimmer switch look for a light green wire w/a white tracer,you can tap into that which will allow you to dim also

I take it the dimmer switch is the little wheel that allows you to dim the dashboard lights? I am used to reffering to the dimming on a car stereo as the ability to dim the stereo automatically when the lights come on.

FYI - on 2001, the dimmer switch wire needed for external gauge light is the orange wire on the dimmer switch.
