Copper gaskets will work best if you have the block o-ringed and a reciever groove in the head......then you have to worry about water seeping out from between the head and block. I'm not sure if they would recommend running them without o-rings.
Save the trouble unless you are going to be running very large
amounts of boost.

the gaskets have been proven to work on the DLM motor in the Heffner car that just ran fast as sh*t. i woudn't want to use them on a daily street car but if you take the extra precautions you probably make them seal up. Had them on my gen 1 no problem.

I second what Tony said. Except that my car is a street car and I drive it all the time. And, the best part, is that copper gaskets are re-usable!
