Are there tips to VEC2 Install?

It is gonna be sunny and 70s today here in the thriving metropolis of Frisco, TX, so I am going to install the VEC2 on my GTS today. I was just curious to know if there are any tips or suggestions to a better install.

It is not difficulty to install it. You have to locate the right wires. I have only one tip: When installing, use a direct electrical current from the +12V terminal. Nothing else should be on this electrical wire ! Use a relay (cost $5) and fusible (it comes with the VEC2). The relay should be activated by the ignition switch. I have had some troubles because my electrical wire was activating other things than the VEC2. It is a computer and rather sensitive to current changes. So the best is to get its current directly from the battery where the current variation is nearly zero. Take also care of a good grouding. Vipers are notorious about this PCM issue.
