Hello Marv,
After more than 45 years in Arizona, and a brief break over the last year ASRA and its leadership have decided it is time to rejoin in the local racing community. ASRA has always been an organization, where the primary goal is to provide premier racing and driver education venues and events to Arizona. ASRA 2005/2006 is committing to the Arizona region the following:
1. Good and experienced leadership
2. New and energetic management team
3. Special events for local car clubs and organizations.
4. Minimum of a 7 events schedule for 2006
5. Expert instruction for Driver Education groups
6. Expert race tech and impound
7. Quality corner workers
8. A new race car class system to enhance competition
9. Trackside support with vendor and sponsor areas
10. Contingency and prize money for all classes
11. A return to Customer Service!
12. Fun and awesome events!
These are things in Arizona that have been missing for some time and we are all looking forward to their return. This season promises to be a great one! Please mark your calendar for the following:
Fall ASRA 2005 Schedule
November 26th and 27th at Phoenix International Raceway
Registration will open October 10th, 2005 - This event will feature the traditional 2-Hour ASRA Annual Fall Enduro, one of the oldest races in Arizona. Sprint races, a BMWCCA club race weekend, and sessions for street cars will also take place.
We want everyone in Arizona excited about racing and driving again -- we certainly know we are!! Watch for more information on this new road of leadership for this old organization - We want you to expect only the best from everyone involved.

While not official VCA events, these races by ASRA have been well attended by Vipers and offer a fun time to drive or watch.
