Very Hot, 88 degrees and humid (relative humidity 92), it did ccol down a bit later on.

I got 2 runs in. My car is a bone stock 2001 Viper GTS on Michelin Pilots at 28# of pressure.

1st run I came out off idle and only got a 2.05 60' resulting in a [email protected]
get aquainted run.

2nd run I launched at 2000rpms and slipped the clutch a bit resulting in a 1.94 60' and an improved [email protected].

For comparison sake, this fares pretty well compared to my best time in my 03 Cobra on drag radials which was a launch at 3000rpms slipping the clutch, a 1.93 60' and a [email protected].

The videos will be available on www.svtsnake.com within a day or two.

I definitely feel with a 3000rpm launch and slipping the clutch I can cut a 1.8 60' and run a 12.1@117+, cooler temps and who knows, maybe 11s.

Actual slips looked like this:

Viper-----03 Cobra (445rwhp/452rwtq SAE)
1.94 ----- 1.93 - 60'
8.06 ----- 7.95 - 1/8
91.43-----91.40 - 1/8 mph
12.34-----12.22 - 1/4
116.99---116.13 - 1/4mph

My best on stock radials with the Cobra was a 12.29 with a 1.96 60' launching off idle.

This Viper is awesome!

All runs were grannyshifted.
