Ohh how i wish i could have gone!!!, enjoy it guys!!
I may have to get down there a bit earlier to get some things setup... so if you guys can't leave that early, then I will see at the hotel
I will have to work at least a half day on Friday so I will have to meet y'all at the hotel in the evening if everyone is departing in the morning. Chris, I like your idea about the car show on Saturday.
woot! I ordered a little piece of SWAG for those attending and I thought it would not come in time, but it appears to be arriving today
Here is the itinerary for anyone needing it (I am bringing copies for those staying at our hotel):
Update to itinerary: *Dinner is moved to 6:30 @ Tommy Bahamas so we may have to be at the head of the pack for "Cruising the Strip" after the car show
When/where is everyone leaving from?
Jeremy and I are leaving from the Raleigh vicinity at 10:00am....anyone else want to meet along the way, let me know!
checking for the hotel is on the other side of the street in the main hotel is follow the signs for guest check in
don't go up the ramp they have ground level parking at the main hotel area
they ripped off a parking area on Tower one you'll see my car and it ground level after you check in across the street
roped Off *
loooks like it was a fun time, i will try not to miss it next year!!!
Once again, Janelle and I had a great time. We had some rain on Friday which dampened things up a bit (and scared some away), but Saturday was GREAT! Chris really organized a nice event for us and dinner at Tommy Bahamas was A-1! It was nice to meet our newest member of the club, Seth, and his friend Bob. Seth owns a pristine 96 blue/white GTS which took a top 10 award for "best paint" in the show!
Anyway, here are a few of my pics:
And a few more:
Looks like a great time. Glad the weather was okay on Saturday too. The picture looking out the hotel room was pretty good. Right on the beach!
Who's red Gen V?
It was the owner of MGW Products. I talked to him for a bit...nice guy.
Here are a couple of photos that I took while we were chillin at the gas station.
I had a great time folks, thank you for putting on the event and involving the Carolina chapter. Much appreciation to Chris, Brian and Janelle. The officers are focused and on point with monthly gatherings and meetings. Thank you!
