Auto Cross Tire Pressure???

What tire pressures should you run front and rear for auto-cross?

usually higher than street. Do the ol shoe polish check on your first run and check the sidewalls and adjust.

I have found 35 to 40 depending on conditions; track surface, track and air temperature. I would start with 35 F & R and make adjustments for push and oversteer. Good Luck. More important than exact PSI is to keep you eyes one turn ahead and remember show in fast out.

With street tires I start @ 32 all around & adjust UP depending on how the car reacts.

You gotta know the tire / wheel setup before you can give an accurate answer.

The generalities above are good: "more than street" pressures. Fred is right on for OE tires hot and dry.

pdm is right also...start streets at 32X4 for Pilot Sports.

You might want to pull your sport shims for Autocross!
