People,

I have just completed an istallation of the Auto Meter D-Pic unit and am wondering if anybody else has one and has any words of wisdom in its effective and accurate use.

I have to enter the true weight of a stock 2000 GTS with a full tank of gas? I've got a curb weight number of around 3,420 lbs. Does that seem right for a full tank minus driver?

By the way the installation was a snap for the pod and the meter. No cutting, no scratching, no mess. The wiring was a breeze as well. Now we will see if the unit is accurate enough to be worth anything.

i weighed my car on a scale with full tank of gas and me in it (160lbs) and it read 3450.
My guess is that weighing included at least 3 cases of cigarettes, a few pair of glen plaid shorts, a pair of Chuck Taylor All Stars, an Apache Helecopter Helmet, a good 400 pounds of camera equipment and Captree Rose (who D forgot was in the car). :D
