Well I am getting sick of hearing about all this "Viper getting beat by Evo, vette, etc" crap lately, so I wanted to share a little glimpse of the past Sunday at MSR. To refresh everyone's memory, it was my first time on my new shoes:

Goodyear Eagle slicks on 18" Purners. These tires are amazing. I only have 1.5 hours of track time on them, and I cannot tell you how much grip they have. I was putting down 1:21 laps (in heavy traffic), and could have easily put down a 1:20 or even high teens if I had some space. I absolutely demolished everything else on the track (as you can see from the video):

My wingman was David Tittle, in case you were wondering about the witty comentary. For those of you that know MSR: I still need to work on my entry into Rattlesnake and Wagon wheel, but other than that I am pretty fast. I am basically WOT at the apex of tombstone, big bend, ricochet, and little bend- quite a few Gs with 580 rwhp on tap and these slicks! Man I love these shoes!!!
