As a few others have posted, the new B&B headers are done being designed. They should be shipping soon. We provided the car for the development of them (03 SRT) and gave their R&D engineers step specs that have worked for us in the past. We just installed a pre-production set on a comp coupe and here is the dyno chart. They made every bit of power that B&B claims. Check out the torque at about 3400rpm - about 80 more! The SRT-10 set is a full system that includes side pipes and a crossover so be sure to buy the headers and full exhaust. The comp coupe dyno shown is using the headers only. As far as we are concerned B&B is on the cutting edge for header development. Pricing is not cheap, but then again, you do get what you pay for.

Here is a better pic of the full 'stepped' header. These are ready for shipping next week. Regardless of what you may hear, these are NOT in stock anywhere right now. (we had a customer tell us that another vendor said they have 3 sets in stock right now - not true) Anyhow, they will be ready to ship in very limited qty next week. For the SRT-10 you should run the full exhaust with balance pipe and for the comp coupe, just the header. Either way, you can not make more power with any other header on the VGX motor right now.

SRT/Comp Coupe B&B step headers are FINALLY a stocking item! These are still the highest performing header available for the VGX motor. Period.

Loud with a capital L! They have that 'header' sound that is so familiar with old school big tube headers in pro street cars. Very very good sounding....

B&B also has a SRT cat back system that work with the headers. It has a newly designed X pipe. (yes X pipe on an SRT/CC) We are installing a set on a street car next week and will dyno on our dyno.

That is how B&B does it. Not sure why, but one theory is that you have less of a chance for OBD related error codes. I will call and find out what they say....
