Luis,
Deltran Super Smart Battery Tender. World's most advanced battery charging system:
* fully charges battery automatically
* maintains full charge indefinitely by automatically switching
to float when full charge is reached
* outperforms any standard charger or trickle charger
* cannot overheat, overcharge or overgas like trickle chargers
can
* full five-year warranty
* designed and assembled in USA

Keep mine hooked up all the time. Available at most auto parts stores. Got mine at Pep Boys. Cost $50 - $60. They come in different voltages. Make sure you get the box marked 12V.

You can also get a fully-automatic battery maintainer at WalMart for, if memory serves me, $15. Works as well as the Deltran unit. I have both and have found they both are great. Also, I made up a cigarette lighter plug for mine so that I don't have to open the hood, just plug in the lighter. I leave the wondow down a crack so that the wire comes out.

Walmart -- $19.95. I put alligator clips on it. Works very well.
No need to spend $$50-$60 dollars.

The best price I have seen for a genuine Deltran Battery Tender is at www.accwhse.com for $33.95. That is almost half what they sell for elsewhere. Part #01991. I have five of them that I use for various vehicles and they work great.

Sears $25. I hooked up a quick connect (electric model airplane parts) right off the jump posts under the hood and clipped the lead inside the side vent openings - I just reach in and connect it anytime the Viper sits for any time
