Battery Tender Recomendations

What do you recommend for a battery tender and where can I buy it? Thanks!

We are VERY HAPPY with the Deltran unit...can find it at Pep Boys, several magazines. Price $54-59.00.

I bought 2 from Walmart last year. I think they were 19.95 each.
One has been in operation the whole time, the other for 6 months.
No problems. I periodically check the voltage with a digital meter to insure they're doing their job.

I use a battery charger of I can't remember which make and its really not important.Its probably 30 years old,Charges 6 or 12 volts and manual,comventional or maint free type batteries.I attach it once a month.Use it to charge the tractor battery too. Bruce

i use a battery tender connected via the cigarette lighter...
any experience with such a system?
