Anybody happen to know this off the top of their head?

I can't find it anywhere. I'm using the provided gasket from Bellanger.

I used the stock spec of 16 ft lbs, but it was impossible to get the torque wrench on some bolts.

There have been posts about Belanger gasket failures.
If you are installing the Belanger gaskets be certain to retorque after several heat cycles.

Yeah, some of the bolts are a pain to get at.

I've heard the same about the gaskets, but after taking to a few people, including Lou, they are fine if you properly torque them down.

You DON'T want to use the Ballanger gaskets, period. The bolts will also vibrate out, use the Stage 8, locking bolts. Use some anti-seize.

If you use the Belanger gaskets... tighten TIGHT!!! The bolts that come with the Belanger are almost double in size so you can do it!! Don't do the stock specs... The gaskets with harden and just break apart leaving some VERY annoying exhaust leaks!!

Thanks for the input, but they are already installed. I'll just wait and see if/when they blowout and replace them. It shouldn't be too hard to put a new gasket in when that time comes.

What is a good gasket to go with?

The OEM gaskets did not exactly match the Belanger header flange. Taking a Dremel tool to the OEMs would have made the gasket too thin in some areas IMO.

The Belanger gaskets are in service for over a year without leaks. However the header bolts torque is checked on occasion.

My Belangers came from BTR in 2001. Instructions said gaskets were optional, but not required. The kit did not come with gaskets back then. I did not use any gaskets. I checked the bolts about a 1000 miles in and only twice since in almost 60,000 miles. A couple were just a little loose last year. No problems otherwise.

Steve 00RT/10, you didnt use headers gaskets ??

We used no gasket material anywhere on the install. We used high temp copper silicon on the header pieces themselves as well as the headers to the engine. There were no OEM gaskets to start with upon disassembly. Header gaskets can cause the type of problems referred to above. They are the weak point in the install for exhaust leaks. The no gasket method has worked well for me the last 60,000 miles.

Steve, do you have a brand name for the copper silicone you used?

I haven't used it since, but found the tube.

Permatex Ultra Copper 101BR
It says: sensor safe, high temp RTV silicone gasket maker on the tube
