Best e.t. so far

Last sunday I drag raced here in Panama. This was my "first" official race.
The track is an old airport with a very regular surface and bad traction.
My best was 12.1 but after some passes the engine started to get hot and the times were getting worst everytime.
I only have K&N's and Kumhos.
What should I change to lower the engine temperature.
Panama is very hot.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
