borla full system O2 sensor code

Can anyone explan the O2 sensor problems with a Borla or other full system. I am currently looking at a 2000 Borla equipped, for purchase, which is displaying an O2 fault. I remebered seeing something before about headers not letting the sensor read correct. Im in Colorado so I have two concerns the state emissions inspection and a quick spin over a 10K ft pass where an O2 sensor needs to be working.

Whats the fix? or is there one?

I have heard of guys passing with the Mopar pcm. It also doesn't throw a code with headers.

Have you replaced the O2 sensors? I have M&M headers and a full 3" Borla catback on my 96 GTS. I had an check engine light for the O2 when I had the headers installed but not with the Borla by itself. I replaced all 4 sensors from Rock Auto and it fixed the problem. Then I went catlless and put sparkplug non-foulers in the rear O2 senors and everything is good.
