can I do rockers in my garage ?

Yes you can. You will need basic tools. 12 pt sockets(I believe a 1/2, 5/16 and 9/16) Torque wrenches. Remote starter is a must.

First you have to get the correct stand height by using shims or not using them.

Then make sure the pushrod length is correct and the roller tip is basically centered on the stem. To the intake side a little is ok.

Then adjust and torque and you are done. Granted it takes a little time and is a little more detailed than what I described, but not to difficult.



BTW - hold on tight to the pushrods and make sure you one does not slip and fall into the motor. Been there, done that.
