Well at least the price has come down in the past couple of years but it's still not in line with the current exchange rates! In the USA the MSRP is $83,145 for the roadster and $83,895 for the coupe. At todays current exchange rate in Canadian dollars it works out to $87,618 (roadster) and $88,408 (coupe)....so why are they charging the Canadians an extra 10 grand over the actual exchange rates?

I believe it has to be registered in the US for 6 months first. If you buy it before it has been registered then they will void the warranty from what i have been told. You would have to check with the dealer to be 100% sure.

That 99600$ price is still poorly set. It is the same price as for the 2006 Coupe. Espetially it will be ridiculous when the 09-10 Viper will be upgraded with new features. 2008 Vipers will loose their value very quickly like the 2000 Vipers.

We have many angry guys here that paid 125000$ their Viper and a week later the Viper was selling $90000. Dodge should have gone with something between 89999$-94999$ for 2008. Then they could have increased the price for the later years as they add new features. The market value of the Viper could have been more stable.

Agressive marketing is very important and pricing is part of this strategy.
