It's actually pretty simple. Just make sure that you are referring to the actual address where the picture itself resides. I went ahead and "fixed up" the post I am guessing you were referring to:

If you would like to see the actual "text" that was used to make that post work, just click edit (ab only) and you will see what I did. Part of the problem is that many people try to link to a picture that is part of a page. When you first posted that picture link you used this:
http://www.ntcsites.com/capturedmoments/pictures/view_alone.nhtml?profile=pictures &UID=10050
If you notice, it is actually a web page hosting your picture, as indicated by the "back" button at the bottom. By referring to that when you try to post the image, it won't work because it is not the actual address of the image itself. To find that address, right-click the image and then click on "view image" and it will take you to the picture itself. In this case, that address is:
http://www.ntcsites.com/capturedmoments/nss-folder/pictures/dash.jpg
Notice that it is the image all by itself and that the address ends in a graphic filename designation, in this case ".jpg". THAT's what you need to post the image properly.

PS. And to those others that are having some troubles, note that some sites do not allow linking to a hosted image from another site. A prime example is Photopoint, which will host your image in an album format, but will not allow you to "post" it directly in another page. Just an FYI...
