Attention all KC and Springfield members: My stepmom works for the Benton County Health Dept as a in-home nurse and they are putting on their first annual car show. All proceeds benefit the Benton County Cancer Fund and Relay for LIfe. She has asked us to bring our Viper and we'd love to have as many friends join us to show up in full force. They probably don't see a lot of Vipers in Warsaw, MO. It's only an hour and a half drive from KC and an hour North of Springfield.
Here are all the details:
1st Annual Car Show for Benton County
May 3, 2008 - Weather permitting
Where: Warsaw Harbor in Warsaw, MO.
Entry Fee: $20 per car (The Wollesens will pay 1/2 for anyone from our club who attends)
Registration: 8:00- noon
Judging: Noon to 2:00
Trophy Presentation: 3:00pm
Various vehicle classes for judging.
Trophies will be presented for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each class.
Additional trophies will be presented for:
* Best Club Participation (we'd love to win this one!)
* Longest Distance Traveled
* Best Paint Job
* Best of Show (would love to see someone from our club win this one!)
The plan for the day:
Leaving from KC-
Meet at Gails Harley Davidson in Grandview at 7:45am to leave together at 8:00am.
Arrive in Warsaw, MO. at Surf & Turf Power Sports (directions to be provided), to meet up with Springfield members. Depart Surf & Turf at 10:00am to cruise over to the Warsaw Harbor to register together as a club.
We should be able to leave by 4:00pm after the trophy presentation and be home by 6:00pm.
