check engine light solved

Thanks for all your responses for my check engine light question. I took my 04 into Rockland Dodge today, I have to tell you all that they are a first rate group for service. They may not be well known as some of the other dealers but the manager,mechanics,and facility are excellent. The problem was a crank position sensor, they replaced it in 10 minutes and I was back on the road

My boat had twin MerCruiser 8.1L engines based on GM's new big block truck engine. Bad crank position sensors became a huge issue with these motors. It was such an issue that boat owners were training themselves how to replace them on their own and many actually carried a spare sensor onboard.

What a clean shop they had and your right the tech was very sharp.
