Chinese New Year

In case you didn't notice, Wednesday was the start of the Chinese New Year. It is the year of the SNAKE! There should be some way to celebrate. Any fun suggestions?

I plan to drive to "Chopsticks" restaurant and demand free Dim Sum in exchange for parking in front of the place!

But I have a small jade snake to give the restaurant owner!

Maybe instead of the Paris to Dakar rally we could have a Viper rally from Montreal, Canada (our Paris) to San Francisco's China Town, in honour of the Snake!

I know some Chinese. I lived in TaiPei, Taiwan for 15 months in 1967 and 1968 while I was in the US Air Force. Tsai Chen.

Har gau
Ta chi Gau
Hoi Sin Zan
and
Gong Hei Fat Choi ('Gung Hee Fat Choy' to round-eye like me)
