Chrysler to eliminate 12,000 jobs

The automaker is planning to cut one shift each at several plants in the Midwest.

I found the following on Auto Observer. It gives a brief summary of each Chrysler plant and product they build, their future and an overall grade at the end of each one. It doesn't say good things about Conner Avenue and the future of the Viper.

I don't know how much weight I'd put on this article. One of only two plants to receive an "A" rating was just given pink slips Friday for one of two of their production shifts to be eliminated January 1.
