Is the side sill temp too hot to install the cear bra material? Will the high temps melt or bubble the material? hate to have the paint and 3m material fuse together.

If you still have the factory cats, I personally, would not because of the heat. I might expect the clear bra material to "yellow" as does some of the clear coat paint colors. I run the factory cats, but aftermarket mufflers and the muffler area, on my car, would be no problem. The cat area gets awfully hot and I added extra insulation to boot. Of course, I live in an "inferno" for 4 months of the year. :p

When I put on my new sills I put on some protectant, but only small areas. Basically the same areas as the stock GEN I sills had from the factory, but better :) So far so good.

Oh and I do have high flow cats (Roe system).
