Competition Coupe a DC Substitute for a Gen IV GTS?

Although some of what you say is correct I believe that the Comp Coupe is for the Viper Owner and or Pro racer who wants a purpose built racing Viper. It is very difficult to take a street car and turn it into a racecar without having a garage full of parts you don't need. So why butcher up a street car? I think this is the answer many requests from the Viper Nation. At the same time it will fit into some other racing series so as to increase some more visibility (and sales).

I wouldn't get concerned about the CC "replacing" the street version coupe. The CC was a necessary step to keep all our racing members "state of the art". I would think with the vendors in place for production of coupe tops and bodywork, looks like the path is becoming clear..... IMHO
