The Photoshop job looks much better. Maybe it's the photos and it will look better in person.

I like the car, but not the color. I'll reserve final judgement until I see it in person.

Hopefully it doesn't look like the "Daytona Sunset Orange" color offered for C6, which is pretty much rust colored.

To answer the question about the weight, my understanding is that there will be a total weight savings of about 34 lbs. for the four wheels.

Not bad.

Copperhead Wheels....

Mopar will have wheel sets available very soon. But I can tell you that there is 34 lb weight savings (per vehicle) over the production wheels.

By the way.... How many Copperheads will be built? I heard the number is around 150.

Can't be positive from these photos, but if I were to guess I would say we are looking at #031 of 200 and #048 of 200...

Hay long time no see... went by the old work today, there are 300 number 081 is there right now, looks good but I didn’t have the camera today, might go back Friday.

The Copperhead is at Atlanta Dodge on Peachtree Industrial. It is, to me, a salmon color in the sun (where it sits with an unsold yellow Viper). Will be interesting to see the Commemorative Edition. Did not care for the Copperhead, but its wheels are okay.

Re: What Alice calls salmon colored....

Suddenly I,m concerned about eating seafood the next time I'm in Atlanta!
I saw the Copperhead here in STL. The wheels seemed to be getting a lot of attention. They looked the same as the ones on the red raffle car last September. I liked them.

Everyone says color is subjective.

Objectively, black is the complete abscence of color. :2tu:

Silver is prolly the correct color for a Viper.

Re: What Alice calls salmon colored....

Tom,

That is not technically accurate. Black is the presence of all colors. White is the absence of color. Silver is primer. I passed the Copperhead and then a Chebby Suburban. It was painted a similar color. The Copperhead, to me, looks much better in photos. Thus, if I must have one, I can save considerable money by just buying a large photo of it. The one I saw was infinitely forgettable.

"...infinitely forgettable.. ' LMAO

I really liked the one I saw (indoors). Shades of orange, brown red and gold. I'd like to see it in the sunlight.

I'll be glad to forward you a picture of mine.

Re: What Alice calls salmon colored....

Tom:

a picture of your "what"?

Passing the car, my husband says "what is that in the Dodge lot?"
Me: "I think that's the new Copperhead?"
He: "It's brownish..."
Me: "No, it is salmon colored."
He: "Why did they do that?"
Me: "Spare paint and no more Mamba ideas."
He: "Looks like a Chevy Lumina...and not in a good way."
Me: "There is no "good" way for a Chevy Lumina."
He: "I would buy pink pearl before that color..."
Me: "Nice wheels?"
He: "Hardly a reason to buy."
Me: "What do you recommend they do?"
He: "The Barbi Mamba...Ken wouldn't have one."
