Does anybody have the crossover type? Does it help with the heat? I am thinking not to get the race one since I'd like to keep it low in the neighborough and on the freeway during cruising.

I have the CORSA track exhaust and it is actually a bit more quiet at part throttle freeway cruise or slower speeds because only one bank of cylinders is heard on each side of the vehicle (no crossover). It is louder at wide open throttle, but in a good way.

The vehicle definitely runs cooler without the crossover.

Any drone with the track system? I have heard great things about Corsa, but, have never ridden in a corsa equipped car.

You do get some moderate drone, only noticeable with the top up, if you do a rear cat delete, as I did.
It also makes it louder, but it runs much better.

The stock SRT exhaust includes a set of crossover pipes that do exactly as their name implies, crossover the exhaust. DCX did this to give the stock exhaust the sound of 10 cylinders (two banks) on both sides as opposed to 5 cylinders (one bank). Some people think this sounds better...others not. One thing is for sure, the crossover assembly is very heavy, adds restriction to the exhaust and puts a whole bunch of heat into the floor underneath the passenger compartment.

I was glad to get rid of the mess personally.

I put the corsa track system on my 2003 SRT, got rid of the crossover and replaced the stock cats with free flow cats. Sounds better than stock and runs cooler.

Our customers have said that

a) It eliminates ALL the heat behind the seats
b) It eliminates 18 lbs of weight amidships
c) It provides a crisper throttle response.
d) It adds about 17-18 HP
e) It works and sounds even BETTER with the KN intake installed
f) It is quieter at CRUISE than stock, and NO RESONANT DRONE, unless cats off.

I'm pretty confident that all the ABOVE got thir Corsa Tracks from PartsRack, THANK YOU!
