I'd have to lean towards the coupe.

Better lines and tighter feel.

My opinion only, but I do not like the attention with the top down. I know, a lot of people say just leave the top up, but I really enjoy it down in good weather. Except the people who wanna ask the same dumb questions at every light.

Last week I'm rolling up to a stop light and I notice a crane with a guy from a radio station up in a basket. At each corner of the intersection is a SC highway patrol officer collecting funds. The light turns red just as I get near it. Damn! He starts yada yada on the PA system about the guy in the Viper, what a sweet car it is, how much it costs, and how I should have plenty of money to donate to the cops.....right.

Attention in a Viper is not a top up or down option...you will get attention no matter what.

I know, but tinted windows and a coupe make ignoring the kid in the riced out Honda revving his engine yelling "LET'S GO!" easier.

The coupe is differently a better track car, as well as stiffer and quieter on the road, but I love the “chopped top” look of the SRT/10, with the top is up.

San Diego, you need a convertible all the way. Especially when you drive up and down the coast with the summer we are having!

WOW! I love those rims on the vert.

If I ever decide to go with an SRT, it will be a vert. I will need to add these rims, drop it a little, and add real roll-over protection.

A convertible is more fun. An SRT-10 is more than stiff enough for the street (see how it jacks and check its natural frequency!).

If you choose to keep the top up you can, but you will find you will want to have the top down every minute you can. I have driven in 40 degree (F) weather with the top down and the only thing you need to enjoy it when it is that cold is a hat and driving gloves!!

Let me know if you want to drive a vert. My 03 is in Rancho Bernardo, or we could meet at my business in Mira Mesa. Will give you a better idea of which way to go.

After driving the convertible for a while the Coupe feels a little closed in. Keep the top down most of the time.

I loved my Coupe, but for San Diego the Vert is my choice.

Paul, I may have to take you up on your offer :) .

I love the top down as well, but with 95 degree tempratures in FL, I'll leave it up for now and the a/c blasting.

But c'mon winter:)
