I have a steel grey 2000 RT/10 which I purchased new. I have had several problems with the driver side door which have been taken care of under the warranty and I have seen similar problems listed on this forum (poor door alignment, slow window opening, etc.) with the exception of this topic. One morning this summer, I went out and saw a series if crescent shaped cracks in the interior upper door panel (the one that is between the door handle and the bottom of the window). The dealer didn't give me a hard time replacing it under warranty but couldn't explain why it happened. I think if it was cut/vandalized the "cracks" would have been straight. I don't use any cleaning chemicals like "Armorall" on the interior so I have no clue why this happened. Has anybody out there experienced the same problem and if so, what was the cause?
