Re: Cruise this Saturday

Are you driving out?

Unfortunately no, it is my son's 12th birthday (and he REALLY REALLY REALLY wants me to drive out) but I am on a tight schedule so am having to fly out there Fri afternoon, then back Sunday evening.

However I usually make 1 or 2 trips in the summer which I do drive out..........so next year maybe we can hook up.

Re: Cruise this Saturday

P.S. It looks like I am around on the weekends of Sept 26-27, and Oct 3-4 keep me in mind if you guys are up for a cruise or ?? around then. Hopefully the weather is still holding up then.

Re: Cruise this Saturday

Ok here's the plan:

Meet at the shell station on the corner of Big Hill Springs Road (Hwy 567) and Highway 22 at 9:30 sharp. Fuel and go.
From there, through Cochrane to Hwy 1 and head west. Taking Hwy 40 past the Kananaskis golf course, through Peter Lougheed Prov. Park connecting to Hwy 541 into Longview and then back home on HWY 22 through Turner Valley, Millarville Bragg Creek and back toward Airdrie. We're guessing a 4 hour hike without stops at the speed limit so.....

Rumor is it is a very scenic mix of twists, turns and open road.

Hope to see ya,
:drive:

Hey Shane, hope you can make it. Should be a great drive with all the fall colors, a camera will be a must. We can also drop into our place on the way back if any one likes old gas pumps and related stuff, we are 10 minutes from the Shell station meeting point. Joe

Where's the yellow boys, 1of76 and TCMviper ? Greg's likely down south going fast

I am working this weekend. Car getting work done to it anyhow.

Mike has been real busy, I think he is working on a new venture.

Steve (1OF76RT/10) is at Niagara. Shipped his car down to travel with 100? Vipers.

Sorry to have to miss it. Have a great time.:2tu:

Yea we got um but only on the trucks, saw two big bull moose in our back field last night, would not want to tangle with one of them in the Viper. Will be sure to post a few pic's after the cruise.

We can do burgers and garden fresh veggies after the run if there is any interest.
